Daniel Gaffor one of the three musketeers came to the rescue with 45 seconds left in the game to take the lead. In the last possession, the Volunteers could not score in their last attempt and the game was decided in OT.
In the third quarter, Arkansas dominated the opponent like the old days with Anton Beard putting the Hogs up in the score 93-88. From that point on, The Jabalis play with the clock and walked away with the victory 95-93.
“We kept the momentum, but Tennessee is ranked 19th for a reason, they are a good team and in my opinion they are a top 10 team,” said Mike Anderson.
Up next for the Razorbacks will be two road game against Mississippi State on January 2nd, and Auburn on Jan 6th.
The next home game for the Razorbacks will be on January 10th inside Bud Walton Arena when they host LSU.
