Grand opening at the Arkansas Art center for the Latino art collection
LITTLE ROCK, AR – On Thursday, July 12, the Arkansas Arts
Museum welcomed with a reception an exhibition of
famous Latin American artists. Organized by the Inter-
American Development Bank Cultural Center and the
Arkansas Arts Center.
Showcasing work from the 26 Latin American IDB member
countries. The event is sponsored by Thomas F. and Donna
McLarty.

ACHANGE recognized Maribel Tapia for her community effort
LITTLE ROCK, AR -- The Arkansas Coalition of Housing and
Neighborhood Growth for Empowerment (ACHANGE),
presented its 2007 Community Development Service
Awards at an event attended by housing authorities and
representatives from Arkansas and across the country. The
first lady, Ginger Beebe at the Governor’s Mansion in Little
Rock, welcomed the event.

Convocation for a “Dream of Peace”
LITTLE ROCK, AR – On Friday, May 4, 2007 the Arkansas
Coalition for Comprehensive Immigration Reform, ACORN,
LULAC, the Arkansas Hispanic Youth Soccer Association,
Arkansas Hispanic Caucus, El Latino, Arkansas Hispanic,
and ¡Hola! Arkansas unified under a public vigil in support
of immigration reform and against
discrimination at the doors of the Arkansas Capitol.
