Hispanic Women learn at Business Boot Camp

Accion Arkansas an extension of Accion Texas Inc., a nonprofit, multi-state micro-and small business lender that specialized in credit and services to small businesses and entrepreneurs who do not have access to loans from commercial sources empowered Arkansas Hispanic women with the first financial workshop 'en Español'.

Organized by the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce, “Emprendedoras 2014" a Hispanic Women Conference was a sounded success with over 30 entrepreneurs attending and served as the Chamber’s first MED Week 2014 event.

Maura Lozano-Yancy, president & CEO of ¡Hola! Media Group served as the Keynote Speaker. Gloria Quezada, from First Realty of Arkansas and attorney Angela Galvis Schnuerle share their business experiences as the event panelists. Lindsey Navarro of Accion Louisiana held the presentations and workshop.

The Business Boot Camp was sponsored by Women’s Foundation of Arkansas and supported by Seis Puentes, Small Business Administration (SBA), and Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC).
