Little Rock Zoo celebrates ‘Hola! Arkansas Hispanic Carnival Day’ Saturday, March 28

LITTLE ROCK, AR - - The Spring Break Carnival at the Little Rock Zoo runs each day from March 21 through March 29.

One of the most exciting highlights will be the celebration of the 1st Annual ‘HISPANIC CARNAVAL AT THE ZOO” on Saturday, March 28 presented by ¡Hola! Arkansas.

“We are very excited to introduce yet another family event with a Latin flare to the Arkansas families. The Civitan Amphitheater stage will offer performances of the “Laurita Castillo Mexican Folklore” dancers and DJ Rodolfo “La Sombra” playing all the latest hits,” said Maura Lozano-Yancy, publisher of ¡Hola! Arkansas.

“As a special treat to NASCAR fans, #38 sponsored by Braun Racing will make a special appearance at the Little Rock Zoo on Saturday and Sunday, March 28 and 29. NASCAR # 38 will be parked inside Zoo gates and will be available for photos,” said Susan Altrui, Little Rock Zoo marketing director.

Guests will enjoy carnival rides, and carnival games plus on the Hispanic Carnival Day complete with Hispanic food vendors and performers.

Zoo admission during the Spring Break Carnival is $9 per adult and $7 per child. Carnival ride tickets can be purchased inside the Zoo.
