Magic Springs to kick off celebrations of Hispanic Heritage Month in Arkansas

Magic Springs Water & Theme Park will present its second Hispanic headliner during a summer concert in recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month. On Sunday, September 4, “La Sonora Dinamita,” one the most recognized international bands, is set to perform live at the Timberwood Amphitheater.

“We’re excited to present “La Sonora Dinamita,” in addition to an opportunity for hundreds of families to explore all that our water and theme park has to offer. We’ll have local Hispanic entertainers, Mariachi Viva Jalisco, Danzas San Eduardo, Maribel Rivera, Claudia Montante, Jacob Flores, DJ “La Sombra” and other special activities to kick-off Hispanic Heritage Month,” says Steve Honeycutt, General Manager of Magic Springs. “For one special price Arkansans and visitors can enjoy both parks and watch as the band transforms the stage into a grand fiesta in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month.”

Magic Springs has set a special half-price admission fee on September 4, making the price for general admission $22.50 plus tax.

The only performance of “La Sonora Dinamita,” will be at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and is included in the special ticket price.

September 4, its Magic Springs “Cooler Sunday.”  Each Sunday you can bring a cooler packed with all your favorite goodies into the park. There's no limit on how much food or drink you can bring as long as you can pack it in your cooler.  No alcoholic beverages allowed. Glass is not allowed.

Additionally, Magic Springs is offering a special admission $37.50 plus tax for both days, Saturday, September 3 and Sunday, September 4, come back for free on Monday, September 5.


Sonora Dinamita

Tickets can be purchased online at or at the front ticket gate on the day of the event. Admission includes all day access to the amusement park rides and water attractions available between Magic Springs and Crystal Falls, in addition to the concert.

Magic Springs, named one of the three most family friendly parks in the nation by Better Homes and Gardens magazine, has over 80 attractions including Arkansas Twister roller coaster and other rides such as Plummet Summit and The Gauntlet.
Crystal Falls also includes three body-only slides, four tube slides, play pool, High Sierra Slide Tower, Crystal Falls Wave Pool, Kodiak Canyon Lazy River and Bear Cub Bend for smaller children. Splash Island has over 200 ways to get wet including 10 water slides, in addition to a bucket that dumps 1,000 gallons of water every 10 minutes.
