Mexican Consulate, Latino Art Project presents “Raíces Mexicanas”

The Mexican Consulate in Little Rock is partnering with the Latino Art Project of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Argenta Gallery/Rock City Werks of North Little Rock, and Colonial Wine & Spirits to present “Raíces Mexicanas,” an art exhibit.  The will showcase art from local artists that share Mexican “roots”.

 

This exhibit will celebrate the art of artists that share a common tie to Mexico. These works, done in a variety of exciting mediums depicting various subject matter, will give the viewer a taste of the rich and diverse Mexican culture and Mexican-American artists bring to Arkansas.

 

Participating artists include Luis Atilano, Luis Saldaña, Rolando Quintero, Luis Arellano, Anthony Samuel Lopez, Sabrina Zarco, Mark Clark, Gustavo Lira Garcia, Martin Flores, Sergio Valdivia and x3mex.

 

Any piece sold at this exhibition will support these young artists to continue with their college studies.

 

An opening reception free to all public will be held at Argenta Gallery on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.

 

Argenta Gallery is located at 413 Main Street, North Little Rock, AR.

 

Hola! 528 RAICES 2“Raíces Mexicanas” will be on display at Argenta Gallery from September 1 through October 1.
