Music fans will vote to decide on creation of album content
Through an online exchange on elHood.com, fans who log onto Pilar Montenegro’s web page http://www.elHood.com/PilarMontenegro will be able to listen to song demos submitted by established publishers for Montenegro’s new album, vote to pick their favorite demos, and send in their feedback on the songs. Montenegro will then choose a fan from those who have been most active on her page during the contest to join her for a visit in the recording and production studio during the album production. The entire process will be showcased via exclusive video feeds and ongoing reports on Montenegro’s official elHood webpage. Users will be able to vote for their favorite songs online as well as through mobile phones and phone card voice prompts. DIGA Entertainment, of which Perez is Chief Creative Officer, in partnership with Epana, a nationwide Hispanic-focused marketing and communication services provider, will feature the contest through a new marketing technology, reaching Mexican consumers through seven million phone cards and a potential 35 million voice prompts.
