Peace at Home Thrift Store will hold its second “Fiesta”

FAYETTEVILLE, AR -- The Peace at Home Thrift Store will hold its second annual “Fiesta” Saturday, October 16 from 10 AM to 2 PM at 614 West Sycamore Street in Fayetteville. The Thrift Store is operated by the Peace at Home Family Shelter that serves victims of domestic violence. The store offers clothing, toys and games, linens, household items, home furnishings, small electrical appliances, seasonal items, fabrics and notions and books as well other merchandise.



“Fiesta 2004” will be a day of music, good food, fun and special sales and door prizes. Food from local

restaurants will be available. Children will receive balloons and may have their faces painted.



Store Manager Mary Bruder, said “there will be drawings for door prizes half hourly and half price sales on clothing and household items (excluding furniture). Shoppers may also “FILL A BAG FOR A BUCK” with selected merchandise.”



Staff from the Peace at Home Family Shelter will be available to answer question about Shelter services and individuals interested in community service may learn about volunteer opportunities at the Shelter and Thrift Store. For additional information call (479) 973-9571.
