Seattle Sounders FC Champions with Panamanian flavor

The 120 minutes of soccer were not enough to define the new champion of American soccer and the champion had to leave from the 12 steps.

Under cold temperatures and in a country where soccer has not been a big success, Seattle Sounders became the new MLS Champion after Romanian Torres executed quickly and accurately the last penalty to become the new soccer champion in the United States.

The big final game was not luxurious in terms of soccer, with more hits than consecutive passes both teams tried to hurt the opponent.

Toronto attempt from the beginning of the game with Sebastian Giovinco and Jozy Altidore but the goalkeeper of the green team played what was, perhaps, the best final of his sports career denying any possibility of goal.

The best play of the final would come minutes before the end of the game, when Ricketts run over on the right line, the Canadian centered the ball and after a header from Altidore, Frei the Seattle goalkeeper had the best save of the match practically on the line.

The Toronto villains were captain Michael Bradley, who threw a very poor penalty kick that Stefan Frei tackled without problems and Justin Morrow whose shot returned the crossbar.

Frei was great, he tackled every time the team needed him, so the Panamanian Roman Torres could sealed the final and scored the goal that would give the title to the Sounders.
