CHICAGO, IL - On July 10, 2007, three leaders in very different fields are uniting to address the issue of hunger among Latino communities in the U.S. Today, the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), America's Second Harvest - The Nation's Food Bank Network (A2H), and Tyson Foods, Inc. CONWAY, AR – The first annual of “el Grito,” a celebration of the Hispanic Culture and Diversity in Central Arkansas will take place Friday, September 16 at the the Simon Park in downtown Conway, AR. The festival will start at 6:00pm and close at midnight.

Arkansas River Valley LULAC to host Public Forum
RUSELLVILLE, AR -- The Arkansas River Valley League of United Latin American Citizens, (LULAC) Council #766 will hold it’s first public forum on September 2nd 2005 at the Russellville Holiday Inn.

LULAC leader confronts Minuteman in Houston
HOUSTON, TX -- Minuteman Civil Defense Corp. President Chris Simcox who has taken up the cause of combating illegal immigration on his own hands brought his recruiting efforts to Houston on Sunday, August 14. Simcox compares the group's border surveillance to that of a neighborhood watch. Simcox, who trained about 30, volunteers in Houston Sunday, said, "we are the nation's largest neighborhood watch program."

LITTLE ROCK, AR -- The Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) ranked Tyson Foods, Inc. (NYSE: TSN) among the top 20 companies in the country for its inclusion of Hispanics throughout its business.
