The Arkansas Razorbacks could not finish at home and lost 49-30 vs Alabama. Arkansas will welcome Ole Miss next saturday with a 6pm kick off.
The University of Arkansas was visited by the best team in the nation, Alabama. Arkansas has more than a decade trying to get a positive result against Alabama and will have to wait after they were defeated at home by a score of 49-30.
Arkansas start well in the first minutes of the game stopping Alabama in the 10-yard line. But after gaining possession Arkansas could not score against Alabama and Alabama went up on the scoreboard 7-0 . In the second attempt things did not go well for Arkansas and the Razorbacks started having to stop Alabama and they went up 14-0.
Coach Bielema was not happy with the officials that in more that one occasion didn't make the fouls made against Arkansas.
At a press conference Bielema appeared frustrated and said "I think in the second half we played a little better, it is very difficult to play against a team like Alabama has a hotbed of very talented players and great coaching staff that makes work easier. it is at that level that we want to be. " Bielema concluded.
Arkansas returns to action next Saturday October 15 to face Ole Miss at Donald W. Reynolds Stadium. Kick off is set for 6pm.
Arkansas is 2-0 in conference play and is obliged to beat the Rebels. A defeat would will put Arkansas in bad situation in their aspirations to win the West Division.
