Hillary Rodham Clinton Children’s Library to open on Sundays

Sunday can now be one more fun day with extended library hours at the Central Arkansas Library System’s (CALS) Hillary Rodham Clinton Children’s Library and Learning Center, 4800 West 10th Street. Beginning September 7, the Children’s Library’s operating hours will include Sundays from 1p.m. at 5 p.m.

The interior of the Children’s Library includes a computer lab with fourteen computers, teaching kitchen, large activity area, individual and group study rooms, theater, and community room in addition to a collection of more than 21,000 books, DVDs, and CDs. The grounds are on a six-acre…

Diana Rubio suing Barnes & Noble for royalties

A former New York fashion student claims in a federal lawsuit that she hasn’t made any money off a top-selling backpack she designed for Barnes & Noble.

Diana Rubio designed the “Everything Backpack” in 2010 while at Manhattan’s Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). Now 33, she graduated from FIT in 2011 with an associate’s degree in accessories, according to the New York Post. As part of her coursework, the New York Daily News reported, the school assigned Rubio to enter Barnes & Noble’s “Back to Campus” contest.

Telemundo’s “Premios Tu Mundo” reached over 4.1 million total viewers

The broadcast of Telemundo’s third annual Premios Tu Mundo (Your World Awards) ranked as the network’s #1 primetime entertainment special this season averaging nearly 1.1 million adults 18-49 and 1.9 million total viewers, according to Nielsen. Premios Tu Mundo reached a cumulative audience of 4.12 million total viewers and 2.23 million adults 18-49.

The awards show also ranked #1 in New York and Miami, regardless of language among adults 18-49.
