Arkansas lossing streak during conference play games. Ben Hicks and Nick Starkel are still not the answer that the Razorbakcs need on Saturday and the Hogs ended up losing 31-27 vs the Aggies in Arlington, TX.
Although the game was more interesting, Arkansas could not maintain lead against the Aggies in the second quarter. Arkansas went up on the scoreboard after Ben Hicks connected a 13-yard pass to Mike Woods and put the Razorbacks 17-14.
In the third quarter, The Hogs would once again take the lead after Devwah Whaley ran for 11 yards and with the extra point by Connor Limpert the Razorbacks put the score 21-24.
Even with the effort made by the offense to create opportunities, Arkansas had to settle for a 40-yard field goal via Connor Limpert and got the Hogs 28-27 with 8:46 left to play in the game.
Luck was not on Arkansas side and ended up losing the game 31-27. During press conference, Razorbacks Head Coach Chad Morris said “But, again, a lot of young men and coaches in there that are hurting, and we’ve got to find ways to win in games like this. But we’re going to get back to work. We’re going to take an open week and regroup, get some guys back healthy and get ready to play Kentucky in a couple of weeks.” Morris concluded.
The Razorbacks have by week and will return to action on October 12 when they play away against Kentucky.
