With the call of the Hogs, the shaking of hands between coaches, the sound of the drum, and with a defense that fought every ball and took advantage of counterattacks; Arkansas got its 15th win of the season and first conference win beating  Texas AM 69-59 in front of more than 19 thousand fans inside Bud Walton Arena.

For the 12th time, Eric Musselman started Jimmy Whitt (G) – Isaiah Joe (G) – Desi Sills (G) – Mason Jones (G) – Adrio Bailey (F).

Isaiah Joe had a good night scoring 11 of his 17 points in the last eight minutes of the match. Mason Jones contributed with 17 points to help defeat The Aggies.

Arkansas’ effectiveness from the perimeter of the three points was key to the victory over the Aggies. Bud Walton Arena was electrifying and the fans were very supportive during this match. The last time Bud Walton Arena has a similar crow was on December 3rd, 2016, when the Hogs played Austin Peay.

“We have to give coach Williams credit, we made the decision to play with 5 guards, we have two players who can help us with fantastic scores and of course the support of our fan base. Tonight, I think we didn’t came out as we wanted, we were coming  from an emotional win against Indiana. We lost a few balls, but I think the difference in tonight and in previous games was our three-point scores.” Said head coach for the Razorbacks, Eric Musselman Arkansas.

Up next  for the Razorbacks in LSU on Wednesday, January 8th.
