¡Hola! Arkansas Career & Business EXPO focuses on community

On Wednesday, October 15, ¡Hola! Arkansas Career & Business EXPO sponsors and exhibitors will offer free information while celebrating Arkansas’s Diverse Market Place and “National Hispanic Heritage Month.”

Admission and parking is free, and doors will open at 9:00 am. At 10:00 am Special guest, Edgardo del Villar Telemundo National weekend newscast Anchor, Noticiero Telemundo Fin de Semana, will join Governor Mike Beebe, Mexican Consul David Preciado and business and community leadership in an official Ribbon Cutting ceremony.
The EXPO will be held at Little Rock Metroplex on Highway I-430, 10800 Colonel Glenn Road Little Rock, AR 72205. Organizers are expecting almost 50 booths featuring sponsors and exhibitors.

Arkansas Career & Business EXPO will provide the most effective, solution-oriented service to clients, educators and agencies who want to meet face-to-face with job candidates, students and small business owners in the most cost-effective, progressive and dynamic manner. “¡Hola! Arkansas Career & Business EXPO truly represents the needs of the Arkansas’ Hispanic community in a diverse marketplace environment that includes all diverse cultures and backgrounds, said Lozano-Yancy. “It will not be like any other job fair, this is a true diverse event with results,” she added.

Accion Arkansas a nonprofit, multi-state micro and small business lender that specialized in credit and services to small businesses and entrepreneurs who do not have access to loans from commercial sources in partnership with ¡Hola! Arkansas Career & Business EXPO, presents a Hispanic Business Opportunity Brunch and Panel at 9:15 am. The free financial workshop is available ‘en Español’.

The panel will be moderated by Katherina Yancy, of Steve Lander Auto Group, and will feature a business success discussion among successful Hispanic businesses. Hispanic business owners and professionals in the region are encouraged to attend. Each person will have 45 seconds to introduce themselves and their respective businesses, in English or “en español,” to the group.

Informative and practical workshops plus conferences will be offered every 30 minutes.
