Yolanda Amaya

Yolanda has worked for the last the 3 years for the Jefferson Comprehensive Health System, a community health organization with 7 clinics throughout the state of Arkansas. Yolanda works in the community clinic of Little Rock.

Amaya was the first bilingual medical assistant of the organization. Her work as an interpreter has helped thousands of Hispanics to communicate their medical worries with many doctors, dentists and health specialists.

Yolanda has unlimited energy when it comes for her to donate her valuable services as a volunteer for the Hispanic community of Arkansas….

Jessy Ramirez

Jessy Ramirez is changing lives as a bilingual loan assistant officer for Liberty Bank. Jessy started working in banking in 2000. Soon after, she was promoted from teller to her current position one that she feels she can serve better her community.

Jessy is involved with the Hispanic community in Russellville and Yell County. She participates in many celebrations and main events through out the year such as, Cinco de Mayo, Independence Day, Christmas Parade in Dardanelle and several activities that promote immigration awareness.

Leonardo “Leo” Monterrey

Leo as his friends call him is the District Administrative Assistant for U.S. Congressman, Vic Snyder for Central Arkansas.

In this position, Monterrey, also serves as a Hispanic Liaison for the Congressman in Central Arkansas.

Monterrey is recognized in Arkansas by his aid and support to the Latin community.

He is an active member of the Central Arkansas Radiation Therapy Institute, (CARTI); Arkansas Food Bank; and the Volunteers in Public Schools Program, ViPs, among others.
