LITTLE ROCK, AR — Today’s THV (KTHV, Little Rock) and ¡Hola! Arkansas celebrated with an Open House and reception thier First Year Anniverssary of “THV En Español” on Wednesday, July 28, 2004.

Guests had the opportunity to tour the station’s studios and see the THV News Anchors along with the ¡Hola! Arkansas Spanish interpreters doing the 5:00 pm news live!

Arkansans Defrauded by unlawful pyramid schemes

LITTLE ROCK, AR — Attorney General Mike Beebe warned today that Arkansans are being defrauded by unlawful pyramid schemes operating under the guise of so-called “gifting clubs”, elaborate scams designed to make money for a few at the expense of many.

“Gifting clubs” may be billed in promotional materials as private clubs with members eager to help new friends — often from within their own neighborhood or church group, and participants are encouraged to recruit friends, family members, neighbors, business associates, workmates and relatives via word-of-mouth. …

City Year is Coming Soon

McDonald’s Names Ralph Alvarez as President for McDonald’s USA

OAK BROOK, IL — McDonald’s Corporation’s Chief Executive Officer, Charlie Bell, has named Ralph Alvarez to the role of President for McDonald’s U.S.A. Alvarez becomes the highest-ranking Hispanic at McDonald’s.

Alvarez will have responsibility for over 13,000 restaurants in the United States and will report to Mike Roberts, Chief Executive Officer for McDonald’s U.S.A. St. Vincent Neighborhood Clinics Provide Hispanic-Friendly Health Care

LITTLE ROCK, AR — The emergency room becomes a flurry of doctors and nurses as an ambulance pulls up. The patient is a 45-year-old mother of two. As she is wheeled through the doors, the doctors find that she is having difficult breathing and she has a high fever. She is finally diagnosed with the flu and a secondary infection. A doctor makes the long walk to the waiting room to inform the woman’s husband, 10-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son that she will have to be in the hospital for a few weeks for treatment.

Aviles, Bensing Selected to Attend Democratic National Convention
