Tribute to Hispanic achievement in television

Latino celebrities from around the world gathered for The Paley Center for Media’s Hollywood Tribute to Hispanic Achievements in Television.

“I’m so proud to be here tonight to talk about how television gave Latin music a platform like no other,” Prince Royce said on stage. “You can’t really separate Latinos from music. It’s part of our essence, part of our soul. And whether you grew up with mambo, ranchera, merengue, salsa, or bachata like me, music has connected all of us across generations.”

Latino actors from dramas, telenovelas, comedies, news programs, talk shows, reality program, sports and musicians convened at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel Monday night to commemorate past Latino trailblazers in television, current standout stars and the future actors.
